Dr. Schmitz will serve as a 2023-24 Fellow of the Center for National Security and Foreign Affairs at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville Howard H. Baker Jr. School of Public Policy and Public Affairs. He will learn about policy making from leading experts and share about the importance of manufacturing and machine tools for US economic and defense policy.
